Employment Ontario Employment Services

The Employment Ontario Employment Service program assists individuals of ALL AGES to find and maintain employment, access training or return to school and assists employers with their human resources requirements. Components include:

  • Resource & Information: A labour market service for the community that provides information on local training and employment opportunities, community service supports, occupational and training requirements and resources to support independent job search, career clarification and planning, and informed education, training and employment decisions.
  • Job Search: Offers individualized assistance in career clarification and goal setting, skills and interest assessment, interview and employment preparation.
  • Job Matching, Placement & Incentives: Offers matching of skills and interests with employment opportunities and employer needs.
  • Job/Training Retention: Offers the support of additional coaching and mentoring to maintain employment or complete training or to make that important next step on an individual‘s career path.

The Employment Services program provides access to all Employment Ontario programs and services, including Apprenticeships, Youth Job Connection, Youth Job Connection-SummerLiteracy and Basic Skills, Second Career, and the Canada Ontario Job Grant.

This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
