Working with clients of the home and day programs in supporting them with daily living. Duties include support, supervised outings, home cleaning, meal preparation, medication administration and personal care. Successful Applicants will be expected to register with the Ontario College of Trades, and sign an apprenticeship contract with Community Living Mattawa. The Apprenticeship Training program consists of On-the-job and in-school training that consists of 3720 hours of on-the job paid work experience and 780 hours of distance education school training at the expense of the employee.
Applicants will be available for all shifts, including weekends, evenings and nights; Have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a Criminal Reference check including Vulnerable sector Screening.
