A Recreation vehicle certified technician examines, troubleshoots and diagnoses problems when trailers are in need of repair and maintenance. They repair, install and maintain interior and exterior components on travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, cargo trailers, utility trailers and dump trailers.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: installation of accessories, performing pre-delivery inspections, reading and writing repair orders, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges and air conditioners. Repairs to: fiberglassbody and structural components; and the ability to install, repair coverings, cabinents, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems. Install trailer and fifth wheel hitches.
