Cleaning and maintaining the shop, epoxy flooring and polishing concrete, assisting tile setter, some heavy lifting, painting, operating cutting tools, mixing/spreading grout etc. Packing and shipping out orders, organizing product for packing and unpacking orders, some customer service.
Must have some previous labour experience.
Able and willing to work and learn a trade.
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Well dressed, pleasant, positive attitude, good problem solving skills, able to multi-task, able to work independently and as team player, D/L is required, customer service experience is an asset.
Need someone fit and indicated that male or female candidates would be great.
Able to work 8 hrs a day
They are a tile store supply and install and do full bathroom renovations.
SKILLS: Client will learn all about operating a small business, including serving customers, creating invoices, receiving goods and doing inventory and maintaining stock. Client will learn the skilled trade of a Stone and tile setter, some finer points of painting and equipment operation as it relates to the trade.
TRAINING INFO: Initially client will learn the safety policies and procedures. Client will then learn to use cutting machinery, how to set and grout tile, how to work responsible and efficiently. All training will be hands on with both verbal and demonstration instruction.
