Tree Service is seeking a licensed mechanic with skills and extensive knowledge in diesel and gas engines for heavy equipment and truck repair to join our team.
Responsibilities:
.Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel equipment and vehicles.
.Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel equipment and vehicles.
.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
.Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
.Travel to our Muskoka location when required for emergency repairs.
.Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications:
.Licensed truck or heavy equipment technician.
.Proven experience in repairing and maintaining diesel and gas engines, mechanical equipment and truck repairs.
.Knowledge and experience in electrical diagnostic and repair.
.Knowledge in air brake diagnostic and repair.
.Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail when performing regular maintenance and inspections.
.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
.Willingness to perform variety of duties including occasional equipment operation.
.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, class D or A preferred.
.Knowledge and experience in hydraulic maintenance and repair.
