Reporting to the Executive Director, the Caseworker is required to:
– Work effectively as part of a team to provide professional services to clients
– Supervise and co-ordinate mentoring programs for children and youth
– Supervise mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children & youth
– Supervise school-based programs; meet with volunteers, train clients
– Work with parents, guardians, and volunteers
– Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and resourcefulness
– Demonstrate skills and experience applied to working with at-risk youth
Degree or Diploma in Human Services
– No experience required (Full training and job shadowing program provided)
– Above average written and verbal communication
– Above average computer skills
– Professional, courteous, client-focused, and energetic team player
– Excellent presentation skills for small groups and committees
– Knowledge of Child and Family Services Act
– Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle
– Vulnerable Sectors Check required at time of hire

– Candidates must have graduated post-secondary within the last 3 years
– Candidates must be new entrant into the workforce, transitioning to a new career, or unemployed/underemployed entering in a new field
