Lot 88 Steakhouse and Bar is looking for Part time host/hostess
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Assist in maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
