What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a positive, outgoing individual to join our front of house team as a bartender/server. The ideal candidate will have a range of availability and will have experience in the food and beverage industry. Shifts are varied.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
.Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine food and beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders.
.Performing opening, closing and weekly duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins, replenishing condiments and basic cleanliness tasks.
.Attending pre-shift and general meetings to update knowledge of special offers stock-related issues, and to discuss service and product matters.
.Informing customers about new beverages, menu items and specials.
.Tracking and stocking all beer and liquor inventory, accounting for spillage and breakage during each shift.
.Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
.Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
.Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
.Performing closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming, and preparing linens for collection by laundry service
.Event Setup – includes assisting banquet setup AS WELL AS the bar.
.Any other reasonable request made by management.
.Providing great customer service.
