Job Description:
. Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation
. Install, repair, and service exterior prefabricated products using hand and power tools
. General labour tasks associated with cladding construction
. High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, their own and other workers
. Prep sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
. Load and unload construction materials
. Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary
. Perform site clean-up
. Manage the direction and timely completion of jobs while adhering to budget and material requirements
. Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections
. Serve as main contact for field personnel and Project Managers or Superintendents
Requirements:
. 2+ years of experience in commercial cladding installation
. 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role
. High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, their own and others
. Know all OHSA construction jobsite requirements
. Know and understand building and construction methods, materials, and tools
. Ability to work in all weather conditions
. Ability to travel with designated crew to various locations out of town for runs up to 11-day intervals
. Must be dependable and punctual
. Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks
. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
. Ability to work at heights
. Valid class G driver’s license
. Working at Heights certificate an asset
. Elevated Work Platform certificate an asset
. Criminal Record Check – Level 2
. Be at least 18 years of age
