RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Equipment/machine start-up/shut-down as trained
.Accurately measure, inspect and test production samples and maintain records
.Basic maintenance of machines and equipment as trained
.Complete machine pre-use inspections as per training
.Create and maintain accurate production and quality records
.Maintain equipment and machinery cleanliness
.Cross Train in multiple departments as required
.Clean the shop when necessary, such as but not limited, to emptying garbage’s, organization/cleaning of specific areas
.Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
.High School Diploma required
.Knowledge/experience of machine operations an asset
.Conversant in ISO 9001:2015 an asset
.Basic math skills to calculate production quantities and quality measurements
.Able to follow directions, spec sheets, and basic drawings an asset
.Working knowledge of factory production environment an asset
.Good communication and listening skills
.Require excellent attendance in lean manufacturing environment
.Strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced work environment
.Ability to work different shifts required
.Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Requirements required
.Valid class G Driver’s Licence
.Basic First Aid required
