Duties and Reponsibilities:
– Abide by all required safety regulations
– Work safely with a variety of hand and power tools, including skid steer tractors
– Ensure all underground utilities are located prior to excavations
– Layout fence lines as per plans, permits, surveys and drawings
– Install a variety of fence types including chain link, wood and ornamental at required sites (commercial, industrial and residential)
– Excavation and installation of fence posts, gate posts and gates
– Load and unload materials and equipment
– Maintain equipment
– Other duties as assigned
– Communication, interacts well with customers
– Ability to work well and collaborate with team members
– Committed and punctual with strong work ethic, excellent multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
– Construction experience considered an asset
– Carpentry and mechanical aptitude an asset
– Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
$20/hr
– Own transportation to job site is STRONGLY PREFERRED (possible carpool if in area of another coworker)
– Criminal Record Check will be conducted
– Outdoor working environment and subject to inclement weather conditions
Temporary Full Time with possible Extension in Spring/Summer – Monday to Friday
