Job Summary
, specializing in real estate law, family law, estate law, and corporate law, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to support our legal team in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
.Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and contracts.
.Conduct legal research and summarize findings for lawyers.
.Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining legal documents, client records, and court filings.
.Assist in the preparation of court documents and coordinate filing deadlines.
.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
.Review and summarize legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
.Coordinate meetings, hearings, and trial schedules.
.Provide administrative support, including scheduling, billing assistance, and general office duties.
.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including court filing procedures, confidentiality laws, and industry-specific regulations applicable to real estate, family, estate, commercial and corporate law.
.Perform legal accounting tasks, including trust accounting, client invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record-keeping in compliance with LSO regulations

Qualifications and Skills
.Diploma or certificate in Law Clerk, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal Studies.
.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a legal environment.
.Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
.Good knowledge of Teraview, Closer, E-State software programs.
.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Priority Matrix and legal case management software.
.Efficient accounting skills, including familiarity with invoicing and financial record management.
.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
.Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced legal environment.
Preferred Qualifications
.Experience in real estate law, uncontested family law, estate administration law, corporate and commercial law.
.Familiarity with court procedures and e-filing systems.
.Bilingualism in French is an asset.
