This team player mans the parts counter of our busy RV dealership retrieving
and selling new and replacement parts, receiving, stocking, and recording new parts inventory, assisting service technicians in selecting parts needed for customer repairs. Experience working in a RV, auto, or similar parts department a plus, but will train the right candidate. Good knowledge of product and mechanical/electrical parts, plumbing.
Listen to the customers concerns and their requirements, then prepares orders that describe the problem, the potential fixes needed, the time it takes to complete the repair and the estimated cost, broken down by labour and parts. Oversee the service center’s workflow and scheduling.
Must be able to diagnose problems. Parts Clerk will greet customers who enter the store or call in via phone and assist them with their needs. Individual will be responsible for researching parts and when required place orders through head office (Sudbury). This individual will also be asked to do errand runs in support of the business. Moderate-to-heavy lifting at times. Parts Clerk may process financial transactions using credit, debit or cash.
