White and Red Pine sawmill that operates year-round. We are seeking a Full-Time Millwright with verifiable experience including demonstrated knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems as well as welding processes.

Duties:
.Monitor assigned equipment, identify, and report equipment wear, abnormalities, breakdowns, and repairs required.
.Repairs or replaces equipment or parts that breakdown, show wear or malfunction. Recommends improvements for sawmill equipment and participates in installations.
.Performs maintenance to equipment, building and grounds as required.
.Obtains necessary parts, supplies, and tools from inventory, and is accountable for their return, or assignment within the mill. Recommends spare parts for inventory.
.Maintain a clean and organized work area
.Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
.Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as well as weld processes.
.Ability to provide and apply practical problem-solving and record keeping skills,
.Demonstrated ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions related to work activities,
.Ability to perform manual labour, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
.Must possess a valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license.
Experience:
.Commercial Sawmill: 1 year (Required)

Permanent Full-time (In-person), expected hours: 44 hours per 5-day week, Monday to Friday. Over-time may be required when needed.
