Who should apply? The ideal HVAC Technician has the following qualifications:
- Ontario Certification of Qualification
- 313A, 313D
- G1,G2 or G3 license
- ODP Certificate
- Valid Ontario Drivers License
- Brazing Certificate
- Working at Heights
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Comprehension of HVAC mechanical systems and direct digital control systems
- Able to interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans or other technical documents
- Good working knowledge of the operation, installation and servicing of peripheral devices
- Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills, able to diagnose problems and implement cost-effective solutions
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in customer service
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Experience with 2-dimensional computer-aided design software such as Microsoft Visio
- A working knowledge in communications and networking applications
- Clean Abstract/Vulnerable Sector

What will your typical day look like?
- Responding to customers’ emergency service calls on-site
- Performing regular preventive maintenance
- Maintaining and repairing electrical components of HVAC equipment
- Interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams and interpreting technical data such as temperature and pressure
- Following instructions and analyzing systems, troubleshooting, diagnosing and making systems operational by performing service repairs, replacements, upgrades, adjustments and calibration on systems including removing and installing air quality systems
- Testing for leaks and verifying system readings ensures an optimal system operation using a variety of trade specific tools
- Completing documentation and meeting compliance requirements, including uploading notes and images to our internal software and applications
It is ideal to live in the North Bay Area and have reliable transportation as this is not a remote work position.
Our hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We share an on-call rotation with all team members for emergencies; no heat calls after hours!
